Here is some information I have compiled about injector flow rates and mass airflow sensors and PCM's from various LS1 and Vortec vehicles.  Use this information at your own risk.  If you can verify this, let me know.  lt1swap@centurytel.net

MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS - GM used various sensors across its vehicle platforms.  The 99+ Vortec trucks used a 5 wire sensor with a built in Air Temp Sensor.  The LS1 Camaro/Trans am had a 3 wire sensor, with an external separate air temp sensor.  Also note that the Vortec 5.3/6.0 engines from Express Vans had a much smaller mass airflow sensor.

In the above table, I have just used reference points to note the differences in the sensors at a set frequency.  It is possible to use ANY mass airflow sensor on any engine, however the PCM needs programmed with the correct MAF calibration data.

FUEL INJECTOR FLOW RATES - GM used various different sized fuel injectors across engine sizes and vehicle platforms.  I have compiled this data from looking at many different calibrations.

****** it seems in 2000 GM was using two different size injectors for 5.3.  I did notice a trend that 4x4's got the 3.125 gm/sec injectors and 2 wheel drives got 2.742, but I don't have enough info to confirm this.  Blank areas on the table are because I have not come across these yet.  For vehicles with non-vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulators, I used the value at the 80 KPA table value in the calibration.  I believe 3.180 in the 2003 and 3.414 in the 2004 to be the same injectors.

My ultimate goal here is to gather the PART# printed on the injectors and match it to a flow ratting in the calibration.

PCM SERVICE NO. USAGE - This will list the service number printed on the PCM that I have come across.  Again, use this info only as a guide, I'm sure there are other numbers I have not come across yet.

09354896 - Used 1999-2000 in Vortec Trucks, Blue & Red Connectors, F-Body, Y-Body

12200411 - Used 2001-2002 in Vortec Trucks, Blue & Red Connectors, F-Body, (to 2004 in Y-Body - so I've read)

All 2003-2007 PCMs have Blue & Green Connectors.
